One of only a handful of white drumstick Alliums, White Empress is more robust than most. Strong and tall stems support large white spherical flower heads,  while glaucous foliage dies back after rather than before flowering. 

Other white drumstick Alliums include Allium 'Silver Spring', Allium 'White and Allium 'White Giant' and Allium 'Mount Everest'.

Allium 'White Empress' was introduced in 2008.
