Golden Columbine, Yellow ColumbineAquilegia chrysantha
A wildflower native to southwestern USA and Northwestern Mexico, Aquilegia chrysantha is an excellent meadow plant, especially in semi-shade or on the edge of woodland. Flowers are winged, long-spurred, large and very plentiful, hovering on tall stems above bushy foliage.

A. Chrysantha will put up with full sun, but not if it's of the scorching kind.
