Tulip Little Beauty

Tulipa hageri 'Little Beauty'

Tulipa hageri 'Little Beauty'
A scented dwarf tulip with buds of magenta and green-purple, which open in sunlight to reveal almond-shaped petals around a white halo and an indigo heart. Like most species tulips, 'Little Beauty' naturalizes easily. It will tolerate a little shade, but the flowers will only open fully in sunlight. Height is just 15cm (6"). Sometimes Tulipa 'Little Beauty' is listed as a cultivar of Tulip humilis.
